Contemporary Outbuilding: The design incorporates a single-storey outbuilding with a simple, gable-to-gable form, ensuring harmony with the surrounding agricultural cluster of stone buildings.
The building’s contemporary design complements the adjacent Listed Building without creating an imbalance within the agricultural setting.
Design Aesthetics and Functionality: Large, open-format glazing allows the entertaining room to seamlessly flow into the tranquil poolside areas, creating an inviting space for both family use and entertaining guests.
The landscape design includes beautifully crafted paths and pleached trees, enhancing the connection between the outbuilding, pool area, and the grounds of the house.
Our team managed the planning consent process, ensuring the design met all necessary requirements and respected the heritage of the adjacent Listed Building. Whilst our detailed design package prepared for Building Regulations approval facilitated a smooth construction phase.
